"Long Exposure" is a technique where you open the camera up and allow the light to permiate the film for a much longer period of time than usual ie, opening the shutter for 30 seconds instead of 1/4 of a second. "Painting with Light" takes that technique to a whole new realm by adding specific light with flashlights or strobes while the shutter is open for a long period of time. It becomes like a dance and as you will see, produces images that are unbelievably beautiful. The photos in this website are a combination of both techniques. Some we have added light to, others we have not. Please enjoy our gallery.
